How Much to Grow for a Family of Four

How many vegetable plants does your family need (for fresh eating)?  Below is a list of vegetables and the number of plants required to provide a family of four with fresh vegetables.  You would obviously want to grow more for "putting away," or if your family is larger.

Since it's been well over a year since an update, I thought I would let the blogsphere know that we are as busy as ever!  So busy, in fact, that we haven't updated in a while.  We will be posting stuff here every now and then...See you soon!

2010-2011 FRUIT TREES

Summer is hear in force, and we are already looking forward to the fall!  Our blueberry plants are growing well, and we are looking forward to having our fruit trees ready!  Be on the lookout for an email announcing our plant list and prices!  We look forward to serving you again this upcoming season!

Thanks to everyone for a great year with the fruit trees! We still have a handful of containerized trees for local delivery. We have quite a few mayhaw trees in containers. Shipping!

This weekend, the trees will be dug, and we will be shipping all orders starting Monday, December 7th, 2009. If you have already placed an order with us, you will get an email with a tracking number.
